Bino Cummings
Store Manager, IT Manager
Winters find Bino snowboarding or teleskiing and biking through spring & summer . A competitive triathlete , look for Bino in September's Westchester triathalon. Bino has been part of the Tweed family for years. An outdoor enthusiast, he has managed the Bike Shop. Bino studied bicycle mechanics at Barnet Bicycle Institute (BBI) in Colorado Springs, CO, the world famous training ground for bike mechanics, and is a certified Comprehensive Bicycle Mechanic. Whether it’s the latest equipment or techniques and procedures for bike maintenance and repair, Bino is the person to talk to. Bino also attended the Serotta International Cycling Institute (SICI) and is certified in Advanced Bicycle Fit. |
Bill Lowitz
Bike Sales and Service, Ski Sales and Service
Teleskier, ski racer, and all around Stratton Mountain Boy!
Bill Lowitz has been part of our Bike Shop Team for the past three years. This is a return "home" to Hickory & Tweed for Billy, who
worked in our store twenty years ago. Bill started skiing at Stratton at the age of three, and has been skiing there ever since. Bill was captain of both the Rye High School ski team and the Saint Michaels College ski team. After college he moved to Utah for a season, where he discovered telemark and backcountry skiing.
Bill started cycling in high school to train for ski racing, which he kept up in college. Currently he rides both road and mountain bikes, competing in various events in both disciplines. |

Jake Falko
Service Center
Jake is majoring in Sports Entertainment Management at Point Park University, Pittsburgh. Jake loves skiing,.during the winter months he can be found on the mountain. Jake's sister, Jenn, has also joined Hickory & Tweed, working downstairs.

A snowboard enthusiast, Aiden is a jack of all tradesin our service center, who spends his time at the Tweed taking care of
a multitude of our customer's service needs. |

Kristin Hale
Ski Service Center
Kristin, an awesome, beautiful snowboarder, lends her talents to tuning snowboards in our service center. When she's not working on
a tune, Kristin can be found on our sales floor helping customers find the perfect snowboard gear. |
Brian Stern
Service Center Manager
As our Service Center Manager, Brian ensures that our customers' tunes are A+; he also oversees binding adjustment and testing.
Brian is a life long ski & snowboard enthusiast and as such he has a keen appreciation for what needs to be done to keep gear
in top notch condition. |

A relative newcomer to The Tweed, Mike joined the Bike Shop crew last Spring. Working hard to put himself through college, Mike
is a top notch bike mechanic. |
Jamie "Too Tall" Love

Jamie's weapon of choice right now is his new Cannondale 29'er. An avid mountain biker, he is also a competitive snowboarder.

Alex Frankel

An avid bicyclist and skier, Alex has been working at Hickory & Tweed since he was 14. Currently a student at Leheigh University, majoring in Engineering, this past season he was studying physics at NYU and working in the Bike Shop.
Alex is a western skier frequently found in the mountains of Utah. |
Jacob Perlmutter
Bike Sales and Service
Jacob grew up in Chappaqua, NY and began bicycle touring in middle school. Before finishing high school, he had ridden across the country unsupported. He went on to lead bicycle tours for teens in the Northeast. When he's not tuning bikes in the shop, he is volunteering on a local ambulance as an EMT, and pursuing a Paramedic certificate. |

Alex Bricker
Bike Shop
Alex has worked in the Bike Shop for several years as a bike mechanic; servicing, selling, he does it all! A student at RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), Alex enjoys road bike & mountain biking, and is an avid snowboarder. Alex's younger brother, Jonathan, is also now part of the Hickory & Tweed family. |
Brian Scherer
Upstairs Sales Manager
Mountain biking & snowboarding are Brian's favorite sports. He's often mentioned as one of America's Best Bootfitters along with Bino & Bill. Brian has worked at the Tweed for several years. Recently he spent a year out in Steamboat working at Sportstalker. |
